The short answer is... YES, Yes you should! I'll explain…

In my opinion and experience, Anyone that is creating any kind of content on any platform, website or blog should go Live. 

And this especially applies to business, business owners/executives, safety training companies and any brick and mortar or online only business you can think of.

So why do I believe that?

As humans we are social creatures. We all have a need for contact and interaction with other humans. 

For example…

When you walk into a local business and they greet you, not with the flippant "Welcome to XYZ" that so many use, but with a "Hi Mr/Mrs Smith, welcome back! Is there anything I can help you with?". 

Customers respond to this, as they feel that you actually care why they are there.

What better way to make those social contacts and more personable connections in this digital age then on Social Media through Live Streaming considering Social Media has captured the majority of people's attention today.

In the late 1990's, I looked into doing a live broadcast. I quickly found that just the cost of the cameras to be able to capture the live broadcast, were in the 5 figure range. And this did not include Lighting, Audio, the station to transmitter link and antenna system, let alone the cost of the airtime on the local station/cable company.

Fast forward 20+ years, today you can pull out your cell phone, open your preferred Social Media app and click the "Go Live Now" button and be broadcasting to quite literally the world... FOR FREE. 

The software and technology to go live that is accessible to every person today in our pockets was just not available a mere 13 years ago. 

YouTube and Twitch started their respective live services in 2011 and FaceBook Live in 2015.

What better way to give added value to your followers or customers in a meaningful, more personal non polished way then by Live Streaming.

So... What are YOU waiting for?

Live Streaming is a POWERFUL tool no matter the platform. 

Have fun with it! ..... Be consistent!

Go Live and establish a more direct connection with your followers or customers, a capability that was not available to us not that long ago.
